By requesting services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Platform Description
Your Community Handyman LLC connects homeowners with handyman service providers for home repair, installation, and maintenance services.
Services may be performed by:
- Company employees
- Independent contractors
- Third-party service providers
2. Estimates and Pricing
Quotes provided through the platform are non-binding estimates based on the information supplied by the customer.
Actual pricing may change due to:
- Incomplete or inaccurate job descriptions
- Additional labor required
- Hidden structural conditions
- Additional materials required
- Safety or access limitations
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate job descriptions
- Provide safe and clear access to the work area
- Secure pets and personal belongings
- Ensure the work area is safe for technicians
Failure to meet these conditions may result in cancellation or additional charges.
4. Materials
Materials may be supplied by the customer or purchased by the service provider. Material costs may include procurement and transportation fees.
5. Scheduling and Cancellations
Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled. The company reserves the right to charge cancellation or missed appointment fees if technicians arrive and cannot access the property.
6. Payments
Payments may be required:
- Before service
- At booking
- Upon completion
Failure to pay may result in service suspension, collections, or legal action.
7. Independent Contractors
Some services may be performed by independent contractors. Contractors are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, taxes, and compliance with applicable regulations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Community Handyman LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from services performed.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Property Conditions
Home repair work may reveal hidden defects including structural, electrical, plumbing, or water damage issues. The company is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or concealed defects.
10. Service Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, services are provided "as-is" without extended warranties.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from services shall first attempt to be resolved through good faith negotiation.
If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Florida.
12. Prohibited Conduct
- Submitting fraudulent service requests
- Harassing technicians
- Providing false job descriptions
- Interfering with service delivery
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
